My Background I worked as an engineer for BT for most of my working life, and when I took early retirement, I turned to wood-turning, which I hadn't done since my school days. I did a course with a local supplier, bought a lathe, and haven't looked back since. As well as the pens and perfumes which you see here, I turn bowls and platters - I particularly enjoy turning ones with a diameter of 30" or so, and which I sell at fairs and markets.
