Perfect for the polar explorer, or just for someone who likes polar bears, this ball point pen has a black titanium finish (which is actually grey) with chrome accents. The smooth twist mechanism gives a pleasurable writing experience. The mother and cub polar bears are shown walking along the snow against a background of mountains and moon. The woods used are laser-cut from Canadian yellow cedar, red dyed spalted maple and black dyed spalted maple. These are hand-sanded using 12,000 gauge wet-and-dry and the whole pen is finished with Renaissance antique wax. Overall the pen takes approximately two days to make. This hand-turned picture pen is approximately 5.25 inches long and comes with one refill already inserted plus one spare, both in black ink. |
